| The harvest is plentiful but the worker are few.

We have finished our first walks after the expansion of Coastal Georgia into two communities. We separated the willing servant data base from the Golden Isles list. What we have found that the current data base of willing servant forms for Coastal Georgia is out dated.
Numerous phone calls were made to fill the teams and in most cases we were not able to populate the team with the number of servants that we normally like to have on a walk.
For many years Coastal Georgia Emmaus has used willing servant forms to help fill teams for walks. The idea is that if someone has a specific area of interest; kitchen, Agape, or music etc then having a data base that starts with the form will enable team leaders to call and fill the various teams.
This method of trying to accommodate the desire and gifting of folks and to give everyone a fair chance to serve is not an Upper Room mandate but an effort by the Board to administer what was a large list of folks expressing a desire to work on walk teams.
What we would like to ask is that everyone please update your willing servant information in the data base. Please go to the website and download a, Willing Servant form fill it out and forward it to the address on the form.
For the new community members, we want to encourage you to fill out the form provided in your information package and send it in as soon as possible.
Our goal is to update the data base before the next team selection process.
Begin with prayer and respond to the Holy Spirit's urging. As you know it can't be done alone it take the whole community.
So lets get busy about God's work.
